FAIR
This project is a complete editorial dummy, developed from scratch for a contemporary lifestyle and consumer magazine.
The aim was to create a publication that feels current, conscious and accessible, while maintaining editorial clarity, typographic quality and a strong sense of structure.
Rather than chasing trends, the dummy focuses on timeless layout principles, thoughtful pacing and a calm visual language that supports long-form reading.
CONCEPT
The dummy was conceived as a stand-alone editorial system. From editorial structure and content logic to typography, grid and visual rhythm, all elements were developed as part of a cohesive whole.
Key focus areas included:
Clear hierarchy for diverse lifestyle topics
A distinct but restrained typographic voice
Calm, confident layouts
High readability across long-form and feature content
The concept balances inspiration with orientation.
DESIGN APPROACH
The design combines editorial restraint with contemporary lifestyle clarity.
Classic magazine principles were reinterpreted through:
A modular and flexible grid system
Reduced, expressive typography
A strong rhythm between text, headlines and white space
A layout language adaptable across sections and formats
The result is a magazine system that feels modern and considered, without visual noise or over-styling.
